Dementia Services Development Centre, 2010

A set of six full-colour, easy to read, jargon-free booklets for home carers. Each booklet deals with a different area of care including understanding dementia, communication, understanding behaviour, bathing and life story work. They assist carers in thinking about how to help the person with dementia more effectively, and help them understand what to expect in different situations. The booklets are designed to support ongoing supervision and training and a "My Learning" page is included in each booklet.
